Staffing Coordinator

Visiting Nurse Group, Inc. (VNG), a leading provider of home healthcare services throughout Philadelphia, and its surrounding suburbs is seeking an experienced Staffing Coordinator to be part of a team that fulfills the scheduling needs for patient visits being serviced by our staff of Registered and Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nurse Assistants, and Home Health Aides.

Position Summary:  The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of client’s visits, maintenance and upkeep of scheduling calendar, daily telephone call logs, obtaining field staff availability, and the accurate and timely communication of scheduling changes between office, field staff, and clients.

Special Qualifications:
An individual who can wear many hats, deal with challenging people and situations, change gears to staff cases and assist with the recruiting process as needed.  Must possess positive, enthusiastic attitude, excellent people skills, and professional appearance.

– High school diploma, college education preferred, an LPN with home health background is also acceptable.

– 1-2 years of experience as a Staffing Coordinator in home health care or in other related health care field.
– Administrative, customer service, and marketing experience a plus.
– Must have computer skills, and knowledge in other home care/scheduling software a plus.
