The Visiting Nurse Group, Inc., (VNG) provides highly specialized, comprehensive home care services to medically complex children, young adults, and their families on a short or long term basis. VNG believes that each patient deserves the right to receive complete nursing care in their homes, in a familiar setting to them, while being accompanied by their family and friends. As one of the leading pediatric home health care providers in Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs, VNG provides Skilled Nursing (RN/LPN) and Home Health Aide services.

Our clinical hiring evaluation of Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA), and Home Health Aides (HHA) consists of varying levels of expertise allowing for a custom matching process that ensures the right caregiver with the appropriate skills matches to patients requiring that level of skill.  We carefully screen all staff through verification of credentials, references, and work history, and perform extensive background checks.  Our health care team must satisfy an in-depth application process that includes written testing, and required skills assessments.  Each caregiver must possess an ongoing commitment to perform at the highest standard of quality reliable care that you can count on.

Private Duty/Shift Care Nursing

VNG utilizes Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to perform specialized nursing care on a shift basis up to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All cases are supervised by highly skilled RN Nursing Supervisors. Both RNs and LPNs serve as a vital link to the physician, family members and the clinical team at the Visiting Nurse Group.

Home Health Aide

Home Health Aides or Certified Nursing Assistants provide personal care to patients and assist them with activities of daily living such as feeding and transfers. They may also assist the nurse or therapist in their care if ordered.
